 Rinse and pat dry.

Rub the entire bird inside and out with Wade's Rub. Allow marinating for at least one hour up to 24 hours in the fridge. Place 2 TBSP of butter inside the bird. Place the bird in a roasting pan and cover it—Bake in an oven at 425 degrees for one hour and 45 minutes. Remove the lid in the last 20 minutes of cooking for crispy skin. Chicken Should read an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
